How to Store Your Juicy J’s Juice After You Receive Your Order
Fresh. Local. Juicy. — and frozen to help protect the freshness until you're ready to enjoy it.
When you order from Juicy J’s Juice LLC, we want you to know exactly how your juice is prepared, how it comes to you, and what to do with it once it arrives. Because our juices are made differently from many juices you may find sitting on a grocery store shelf, proper storage is especially important.
Our juices are cold-pressed, raw, unpasteurized, and made with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, roots, and other ingredients depending on the recipe. We don't rely on the type of processing used to make many commercially packaged juices shelf-stable for long periods of time. That's one of the reasons we freeze our freshly prepared juices for shipping and delivery.
🧊 WHY DOES JUICY J’S JUICE COME FROZEN?
If your Juicy J’s Juice order arrives frozen or partially frozen, that's intentional. We freeze our juices after preparation so they can remain cold during storage, local delivery, pickup, and shipping.
Cold-pressed juice is perishable. Freezing gives us a practical way to help maintain the juice's freshness, flavor, and quality while also extending the amount of time you have to enjoy your order compared with keeping every bottle refrigerated from the day it is made.
This is especially important for customers ordering multiple bottles or bundles. We don't want you to feel like you have to drink an entire order within just a few days. Instead, you can keep the bottles you aren't ready to drink in your freezer and thaw them as you need them.
That means receiving frozen juice isn't a sign that something went wrong with your order — it's part of how we handle our fresh juice.
📦 HOW YOUR JUICE IS PREPARED FOR SHIPPING
For shipped orders, your frozen bottles are carefully packed to help keep them cold while they're traveling to you. We use insulated shipping materials and frozen cold packs as appropriate for the order and shipping conditions.
Because packages travel through different temperatures and transit conditions, a bottle may not necessarily be completely solid when it reaches you. Some bottles may arrive frozen solid while others may be partially thawed or slushy.
When your package arrives, we recommend opening it promptly instead of allowing it to sit outside, on a porch, or at room temperature for an extended period.
❄️ WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN MY JUICE ARRIVES?
Once you receive your order, check your bottles and immediately place them into cold storage.
If you're not planning to drink a bottle soon, put it in the freezer. Keeping the remaining bottles frozen allows you to thaw your juices individually instead of thawing your entire order at once.
If you're ready to enjoy one, transfer that bottle from the freezer to your refrigerator and allow it to thaw gradually.
🥤 HOW TO THAW YOUR COLD-PRESSED JUICE
We recommend thawing your juice in the refrigerator rather than leaving it sitting on the kitchen counter for long periods.
Simply take the bottle you want to drink out of the freezer, place it in the refrigerator, and allow it to thaw. Depending on how frozen the bottle is and your refrigerator temperature, thawing time can vary, so planning ahead is helpful.
Once thawed, shake your bottle well before drinking. Natural separation is completely normal with fresh juice. You may notice the juice separating into layers while it sits. That's simply part of working with fresh ingredients.
🧊 HOW LONG DOES JUICY J’S JUICE LAST?
Keep unopened bottles frozen until you're ready to use them. After a bottle has completely thawed, keep it refrigerated and enjoy it within approximately 5–7 days.
Always use good food-safety judgment. If a bottle has been left warm for an extended period or you notice unusual swelling, odor, appearance, or another sign of spoilage, do not consume it.
We also recommend that you do not refreeze a bottle after it has completely thawed. Instead, refrigerate it and enjoy it within the recommended refrigerated time.
💚 WHY WE TAKE THESE EXTRA STEPS
Juicy J’s Juice LLC is a small business, and there's a real person behind the washing, prepping, juicing, bottling, labeling, freezing, packing, and preparing of these orders.
When you order from us, we're not pulling a shelf-stable bottle from a warehouse that has been sitting there for months. Our juices are prepared using fresh produce and are handled as a refrigerated, perishable product.
Freezing allows us to serve customers beyond our immediate local area while still maintaining the cold-storage approach our products require. It also gives our local customers more flexibility when ordering bundles because they can keep their extra bottles frozen and thaw them one at a time.

🌱 FRESH JUICE REQUIRES A LITTLE EXTRA CARE — AND THAT'S OKAY
Fresh cold-pressed juice isn't meant to behave exactly like a shelf-stable beverage. It needs to stay cold, and it needs proper storage. That's why we want every Juicy J’s Juice customer to understand what to expect before their order even reaches the door.
When your frozen Juicy J’s Juice delivery arrives, freezer first, refrigerator when you're ready, shake well, and enjoy. It's that simple.
